I love Skype! I use it to stay connected with family in Ireland and friends scattered around the world in Australia, Germany, Argentina, South Africa and many other places. If you are a frequent Skype user you’ll be as thrilled as I am to learn that according to an article I read on Mashable, Skype is rolling out new group video calling for PC users. You can download the beta version now and play around with it if you like.
The article says that once it’s officially rolled out it will be considered a “premium” service so it’s going to come with a fee of some sort but who cares… For the few times a year I want to get on a call and actually see the other four faces in the meeting, I’ll be glad to throw a few cents at Skype. After all, we’ve been together for so long
